Senior Director, Marketing and Student Acquisition

Kylie leads the marketing and student acquisition team at Risepoint in Australia. With over 11 years’ experience working in higher education, she has helped leading institutions across Australia increase enrolments through integrated campaign strategies, deep market insights, and innovative tools – including a successful Meta Advanced Analytics initiative with La Trobe University to optimise digital performance. 

Kylie is passionate about expanding access to education and building marketing-recruitment models that deliver strong results. Her approach is collaborative, data-driven, and grounded in a clear understanding of student behaviour and university goals. 

Kylie holds a Bachelor of Communication from Monash University and outside of work, enjoys exploring Melbourne’s food scene and spending time with her family. 

What traits do you admire in a leader?

Clarity, empathy, and staying calm under pressure. I really admire leaders who are inclusive and decisive – the kind who back their team, know when to lean in, and when to step back and let others take the lead.

What are your core values?

Collaboration, impact, and curiosity. I get energy from working closely with others and I’m always looking for ways to improve, learn, and do things just that bit better.

What is your Risepoint moment?

My Risepoint moment was finishing my degree at Monash. I didn’t know it at the time, but that choice to study set everything in motion – it gave me the foundation for a career I love and introduced me to some of the most important friendships in my life, as well as the professional relationships I've built working in this sector. It’s a reminder of the lasting impact that the decision to pursue study can have.
