Who is Risepoint?

Risepoint is an education technology company that provides world-class support and trusted expertise to more than 100 not-for-profit universities and colleges. We primarily work with regional universities and colleges, helping them launch and grow their high-ROI, workforce-focused online degree programs in critical areas such as health, education, technology, and business.

How does Risepoint work with its university partners?

Risepoint offers an array of services to its university partners, including marketing and prospective student outreach, student support and retention services, technology implementations, performance monitoring, research around student ROI, and more.

Who teaches the online programs that are supported by Risepoint?

All instruction in programs supported by Risepoint is handled by the university partner’s academics.

Who develops the curriculum for online programs that are supported by Risepoint?

All curriculum is developed and owned by the university and its faculty. Risepoint does not create curriculum.

Who owns the course content? 

The intellectual property remains 100% with the universities that Risepoint partners with.

What role does Risepoint have in the admissions process?

Risepoint does not have a role in admissions decisions, grading, or graduation decisions; students are admitted by, taught by, and graduate from our university partners.

What types of students are enrolled in Risepoint-supported programs?

Approximately 95% of students in Risepoint-supported programs are working adults, which reflects our focus on workforce-relevant programs in healthcare, business, education, and technology.

How is Risepoint different from its competitors? 

From its inception, almost two decades ago, Risepoint was intentionally designed to partner with public universities that focus on affordability and have high-value degree programs that provide a strong return on investment, such as in health, technology, education, and business.

How many employees does Risepoint have?

We have over 1,500 employees across the US, UK, and Australia.

How is Risepoint compensated for its services?

Risepoint offers two business models – a fee-for-persistence model and a fee-for-service model.

How does Risepoint ensure full compliance with TEQSA and Australian higher-education standards?

At Risepoint, all academic quality, governance, and compliance obligations remain 100% with the university – ensuring full alignment with TEQSA’s Higher Education Standards Framework.
